Throughout our lives we often just go along with the flow until one day we realise that we are struggling to manage, have lost focus, direction, our work life balance is wrong, or we just want a change. We may or may not know what the specific problem is, or we might recognise a few minor ones making up a general feeling of dissatisfaction.
Do you know what you need to do to overcome these issues? Primarily you need to understand the real issue behind the problem. Once you have identified the underlying cause, you can take some simple steps to improve your life. You may know what you need to do, or have several options, yet for some reason you are not taking action. There are many reasons why you may not take action on problems or dissatisfaction in your life. Lack of motivation to change, fear, low self-confidence and procrastination are very common.
One way to kick-start yourself into action is to be accountable for your actions. To measure this, work with someone who will help you be accountable to yourself.
