Hypnosis for Weight Loss

Like many people in our developed society you may struggle with maintaining a healthy weight and eating sensibly. Over the years the holiday seasons, poor exercise habits and a slowing metabolism can all lead to weight gain. One great way to shift your ingrained eating habits is to consider hypnosis for weight loss.

Having used self-hypnosis to help me relax during times of stress,  when giving birth to my children and to re-program poor eating habits myself, I believe it is a very worthwhile tool to add to your self-improvement toolbox.

It is important to realise that self-hypnosis is not an alternative to routine workouts and a structured diet. It doesn’t burn calories for you, but it helps you shift your embedded thought patterns and attitude to food and exercise.

entering your mind, and targeting the negative and limiting beliefs which are influencing your life.

We all have damaging beliefs inside which affect the way we act, the way we think, and our patterns of behaviour in life. There are specific beliefs and patterns of thinking which will largely determine your weight – such as your attitude towards food and healthy eating, whether you enjoy healthy food choices, maybe you’re prone towards comfort eating, or perhaps you are just stuck in bad habits of eating junk food. Even your exercise habits and other lifestyle choices you make all begin within your subconscious mind.

The difference between you (if you are overweight), and somebody that is naturally slim, and has never ever had a problem with how much they weigh, all comes back to the subconscious mind, and your patterns of thinking surrounding food and exercise.

All hypnosis does is changes these beliefs within you. When you start thinking about food in a healthier way you will lose weight a lot more naturally, and be able to actually keep it off too.
